Qatar inaugurates fourth stadium for the 2022 World Cup in Al Rayyan

The Ahmad Bin Ali stadium in Al Rayyan has become the fourth fully operational stadium for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after the inauguration on December 18, which is also the Qatar National Day.

The 40,000-capacity stadium’s most striking feature is a glowing façade, comprised of patterns that characterise different aspects of the country: the importance of family, the beauty of the desert, the native flora and fauna, and local and international trade. A fifth shape, a shield, brings together all the others, representing the strength and unity that the people of Qatar have always been proud of.
