His Excellency Abdulla A.Rahman Fakhroo

Information: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Poland.

Date of Birth: April 22, 1961.

Academic Qualifications : BSc in political science from Calven College, Michigan State, USA in 1984.

Work Experience

  • 2020 : Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of State of Qatar To the Republic of Poland being not resident in the Republic of Lithuania and Latvia.
  • 2015 :Promoted to Under Secretary of State.
  • 2004 : Director Executive of The Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences.
  • 2003: Minister Plenipotentiary at the European and American Affairs Department.
  • 1999 - 2003: Consultant at Qatar's embassy in Rome and deputy permanent representative of Qatar to UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and UN World Food Program (WFP) in Rome.
  • 1997 - 1999: Head of Eastern Europe Section at the European and American Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • 1996- 1997: First Secretary at the embassy of Qatar in Peijing.
  • 1995 - 1997: First Secretary at the embassy of Qatar in Tokyo.
  • 1993 - 1995: Director of the office of the director of Consular Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • 1990- 1993: Second Secretary at the embassy of Qatar in Cairo.
  • 1985 - 1990: Third Secretary and director of the office of the director of Consular, Economic, Cultural and Technical Cooperation Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • Representative of the State of Qatar at the executive meetings of the UN World Food Program (WFP) from 1999 to 2003.
  • Representative of the State of Qatar at the meetings and general assembly of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) 1999 - 2003.
  • Representative of the State of Qatar at the meetings of the council of governors of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) 1999 - 2003.
  • Member of Qatar's delegation at the World Food Summit in Rome in 2002.
  • Representative of the State of Qatar at the council of the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance in Balkan states, republic of Slovenia.
  • Participated in many Arab, regional and international conferences.
  • Prepared a number of reports and studies on the agreements of the European and American countries, developments in those countries and their bilateral relations.
  • Executive director of a number of conferences and forums held in Doha since 2005.
  • Current Position : He obtained several promotions until attaining the rank of a Ambassador as from 1st /June, 2009.
