His Excellency Ambassador Abdulla bin Abdul Rahman Fakhroo met with Ms. Inese Voika, Deputy Secretary of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia, where the two parties discussed ways to advance bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ms. Voika praised the democratic experience in the State of Qatar in the context of the Shura Council elections and expressed her hope for strengthening relations with the Qatari side regarding the Qatari-Latvian Parliamentary Friendship Committee. The meeting was attended by Mr. Omar Ali Al-Ali, Second Secretary at the Embassy.
