15th International Conference on Nubian Studies

Mr. Abdul Rahim Muhammad Abu Khadija, Chargé d’Affairs, attended on  August 29, 2022 at the 15th International Conference on Nubian Studies organized by the International Society for Nubian Studies, where archaeologists, historians, and anthropologists from different countries of the world participated in the conference along with researchers working on the cultural heritage of ancient and modern Nubia in Egypt and Sudan.

 During the opening speech, the speakers thanked the Embassy of the State of Qatar for attending the conference. The participants also thanked the State of Qatar for its efforts in renovating the National Museum of Sudan and establishing two headquarters for archaeological missions working in Sudan, as well as its participation in the development and restoration of Nubian monuments, and the maintenance of Sudanese antiquities through its funding of more than 40 archaeological missions from different countries.

At the conclusion of the first day of the conference, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Warsaw was presented with a certificate of appreciation and souvenirs
